Tom Weigand has a way with dogs. His distinctive and highly detailed pictures capture the special qualities of each breed he photographs. His portrait of an Irish Setter is interpreted on this pillow. As the name implies, this dog was developed in Ireland in the 18th century. Although originally bred as a field hunter and still used in that capacity today, the silky long-haired coat, rich color and striking appearance of the Irish Setter make it a popular show dog.
